When Government is bereft of ideas. Oguta lake, Imo state, a most unexplored, untapped and potential natural tourist location.

Located in the southeastern part of Nigeria, Oguta Lake is the largest natural lake in Imo State. Incredibly beautiful, it is located inside the equatorial rainforest of the Niger Delta and its catchment area includes the drainage of a section of the River Niger and the Njaba River which is also a major tributary for the lake. I look forward to a day when this lake will become a world-class resort generating billions of dollars in tourism revenue. It is so enchanting some believe it is the most beautiful natural spot in Nigeria. Unfortunately, Imo state has of recent suffered from the affliction of the most corrupt , visionless, planless and clueless government. May God save Imo State.
