BREAKING: Doctors protest in Owerri, Police shoot, injure one.

Police officers have shot at protesting Doctors in the Imo state capital city, Owerri. One sustained bullet injuries and was rushed to the Federal Medical Center, Owerri for emergency treatment. 
The doctors were protesting the state government’s plan to concession key medical facilities in the state, sack of some medical officers and non-payment of salaries and other entitlements.

The procession was half way from the Nigerian Medical Association office to the government house when they were accosted by the police. 
The state government is yet to react to the incident
