Smarting from his embarrassing outing in far away London, the United Kingdom where a Biafran agitator lambasted him for being an embarrassment to the Igbo race, Governor Okorocha seems to have decided to turn his anger on ordinary Imolites who definitely do not have any hand in spoiling his outing. Grapevine sources squealed to Yours Sincerely that the Governor believes that the young IPOB agitator who is based in the UK could not have had such damaging information on him if not for what he is being fed with from home, hence his decision to punish all those “gossips” who scandalize his name and that of the government he heads.

One of the strategies to punish ordinary Citizens of the State is said to be through unnecessary demolition of buildings and shops across major cities in the State, heavy taxation, levies and fines, eviction of shop owners in the guise of expanding some roads, etc. 

Already, bulldozers are already pulling down structures across the State, while eviction notices are being dispatched to business owners, especially within the Owerri municipality.

Appeals have gone out to the Governor to be considerate of ordinary and poor citizens of the State on whose back he climbed to power.
