SENATE PRESIDENT BUKOLA SARAKI PLEASE, DO NOT RESIGN: By Portia Emilia Anthony.

If you resign Nigeria resigns and I would resign that is no bluff but a fact. Deep down in me I know what I am saying but I would not say it out here as yet.

Let whatever wants to happen let it happen let Nigeria fall apart that is okay but please, I am appealing do not resign.

I do not like you as a politician but I have nothing against you as a person as I do not know you one on one.

But there is a process and a method to the madness let that process continue to a logical conclusion at least, that way there would be some closure that you tried and if you fail you won’t be the first to but I would be consoled that you tried and did not succeed but you did your best..

You are not the most corrupt politician on earth definitely not in Nigeria, you inherited a dynasty that is equally corrupt and you have done all within your power to maintain that dynasty in Kwara state also do all within your power to finish this process of your harassment by the power that be.

You are not a coward please, don’t start that process now.

You have subjected the people of Kwara state to some hardship they have gnashed their teeth and groaned in pains maybe it is comeuppance visiting you as a result. So let be and that is okay.

But there is another former Senator and a former governor of Lagos from Osun state that is more corrupt than Satan he has bought and owned Lagos state that he is not from so hold on if they have not fallen you can’t be the fall guy like Malik would say.

Please, do not allow this warlord of Lagos state the man from Bourdillon get his deity-like way. I admire the fact that you made us realise these bastards are also humans and not our gods. You are being harassed and harangued because you stood up to be counted and not allowed them gloves-in-hand picked a Senate president. That is your only sin. I forgive you.

I really won’t bother if you fall really or grieve that you have fallen but I would weep and wail if you resign because you would have hurt me beyond belief and very deeply too. I want all our corrupt warlords dealt with including you but not on this case if you must die politically as Senate president please, do so standing on your feet as a courageous brave man not bending on your knees as a coward to beg because you are going to be garrotted. 

Guess what? When you pulled that stunt and became the senate president you became my hero and I still admire you for daring the status quo.

They said you made Kwarans poor by your loots that some were found at the Panama when you are ready to be taken to the cleaners for that I would join the Kwarans.

If that must be the case then let all past governors including Tinubu who impoverished Lagosians, Amaechi, Fashola, Nigige also be tried.

Please, please, please, I hate begging and appealing but I am taking exception to that now, hence, I am begging and appealing let the process continue do not allow them have a soft landing and an easy way out please, do not resign.

I believe you can caution them regarding the Islamisation of Nigeria and that is part of the reason the big man wants you out. Please, please, don’t allow him get away with this murder. You are a moderate Muslim and I hate religionists but you are tolerant and I love that.

Don’t resign and expose us to the extremists.

I am meditating and I remember you and actually called your name in my heart.

Senate President Bukola Saraki please, do not resign let the law bring you down if it must.
