President Buhari, INEC And The Sham Called Elections.

Regardless of your regional, religious and/or political affiliation, if you have any stake in a certain West African country called Nigeria, trust me, you certainly should be very worried right about now…. worried at the bundle of Shame a certain Muhammadu Buhari has turned that country into. 

The most important attribute of democracy is credible elections. If a people cannot freely chose their leaders, then any govt so chosen through some other crooked means cannot be said to be the true choice of the people. And if the govt is not chosen by the people through the ballot box, how is it a govt of the people, by the people and for the people which is basically what democracy is all about??

Within just 16 months, president Muhammadu Buhari has successfully taken this country back to the 16th century.

INEC which successfully conducted the 2015 elections in not less than 27 states of the federation simultaneously even in the mist of the Boko Haram threat just few months ago, can no longer conduct credible election in just one state of the country.

In Bayelsa state with just 8 local govt Areas, Mahmood Yakubu-led INEC failed woefully to conduct a successful Guber poll even with the help of all the country’s security apparatus even after three days and three nights with elections conducted into the midnight in some areas of the state. At the end, Mahmood Yakubu looked us in the face and told us that the elections were inconclusive as southern IJAW was yet to be covered.

Now, let’s go through this, one more time:

Bayelsa state has 8 local govt Areas. “8” as in 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. INEC and the security agencies had just one job: to conduct election and provide security respectively. They were not tasked with conducting elections into the whole states of the federation. (Not that this has not been done under previous government) They were tasked with conducting elections into just 8 local governments areas and were handsomely mobilized in this regards. 

Yet, 

They failed woefully.

And this failure of epic proportion happened under a President who promised #Change! He wants to give you Change but he couldn’t do such a basic thing as conduct elections into just one state with only 8 local govt Areas. Now, this man called Buhari and his other friend called Mahmood Yakubu who heads NEC (forget the “I”, unless you already know it stands for “Inconclusive” not “Independent”) these two characters didn’t stop at Bayelsa. They did same in Kogi with just 21 local govts and Rivers with just 23 local govts. 

Today, they’ve raped democracy again in Edo state. This time, the rape was done in such a violent manner that this victim will take long….so long….too long, even, to recover, IF it will ever recover.

Let’s quit playing the Ostrich and tell ourselves some home truths here:

Democracy died with the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as the President of a 21st century Nigeria!

The country called Nigeria will never recover after Buhari is done with her!

There would be no elections in 2019 under Buhari! None, at all! INEC will come up with one excuse as idiotic as the electoral body itself to justify why it can’t conduct the elections.

There can be no genuine #Change in this country as long as Buhari remain in charge!

And here is the worst of them,

Only natural causes can remove Buhari from power come 2019! Your PVCs are as useless as a used tissue paper!

If you have the need to argue or contest any of the above, please, reserve that energy, after 2019, come back with your points of objection. Just do yourself this one favour,

President Muhammadu Buhari is no democrat. To pretend we are in a democracy under Buhari is as criminally idiotic as claiming you are a little bit pregnant. That’s nonsense! You are either pregnant or you are not! You are either practising democracy or you are not!

If at this point, you still haven’t realised the reason Buhari filled all sensitive appointments with only Northern Muslims, trust me, your naivety is ‘follow come’.

If at this point, you are still among those horde of idiots mouthing off cloned lines like: “we voted out Jonathan with our PVC, we will vote out Buhari with thesame PVC in 2019”, please do the universe a favour, go download a China-made brain from Google play store or rush to Ariaria market, Aba and buy yourself a new brain. Which ever option you chose, just make sure you discard this current brain you have, because, apparently, the Nigerian economy isn’t the only thing on recession. That brain of yours has been there long before our economy joined it.

INEC has been criminally compromised. The Security agencies are now an extension of the ‘Daura’ group of companies. 

Without the active connivance of INEC and the security agencies, nobody can rig any election anywhere in the country. Quote Charles on this anytime anyday! The election fraud happening today has the full support of INEC and the security guys! And those two bodies owe their allegiance not to you or their country but to a certain daura-born Muhammadu Buhari and this was clearly spelt out to the heads of these two bodies before they were given the jobs. This, here, is the Crux of the problem. 

If at this point, you still haven’t realised that the #Change mantra is one of the biggest organised fraud in the history of man, trust me, your problem has gone beyond the need for a new brain. 

Go home and mourn your country and democracy in peace.
