It is unfortunate Nigeria is being held to ransom by the cabal entrenched at the helm of the administration of President Buhari.

The secrecy surrounding the situation as regards the President’s health status is a very bad indication and it is quite unfortunate Nigeria has found itself in another quagmire.

It is also unfortunate that Buhari and his handlers are trying to cause another constitutional crisis rather than telling Nigerians the truth regarding their president’s health.

This situation is similar to that of late president Yar’Adua when a cabal with the help of his wife Turai held this country to ransom and deceived Nigerians whilst looting it dry.

The treasury was looted and president Jonathan was forced to continue and manage us along, thanks to high Oil prices at the time.

The same shadowy people in the Villa under Buhari have started towing the same path.

Nigerians should rise up against this if the Senate cannot impeach the President who now seems to be incapacitated and unable to discharge his duties as President of Nigeria.

It is now obvious that the cabal do not yet want an end to this situation and that is why they are playing games with us and insulting our intelligence by shrouding the president’s status in secrecy while they rob us dry.

Nigerians must not allow what occurred in 2009 to happen again.

The National Assembly should appoint a delegation to travel to London to ascertain the president’s true health status and decide, if indeed he is not incapacitated and will be fit and of sound mind to carry on his duties as president of Nigeria.

In the meanwhile, Vice President Osinbajo, should be announced the acting president of Nigeria completing the transfer of power from the president, until the president returns or is certified unfit to carry on in office.

In a situation like this, the president’s chief of staff should be subservient to the Vice President and not continue to weild enormous power in the absence of his principal. The SGF should also be under the control of the Vice President.

Rumours emanating from Abuja, indicate that the chief of staff, Mamman Daura and the SGF have maintained a firm grip on power with the VP merely playing along.

It was gathered that just days ago, the chief of staff summoned key ministers and ordered them to pay fuel marketers N150 billion owed them, an action only the VP should have the power to initiate in the absence of the president.

The Cabal had ensured that in the past two years, they had strategically positioned their lackeys to man all important and strategic positions in the country’s security architecture.

They envisaged that Buhari would pack up eventually and have positioned themselves to ensure that they are in full control in the event of a situation like this.

This is part of the reason justice Onnoghen has not been sworn in. They need a lackey northern cabal friendly Chief Justice who will help foil any impeachment plots or necessary amendments to the constitution.

The die is cast and it is obvious that our president is in bad shape. There is no earthly reason to generate this kind of controversy if it could be avoided.

The NASS should immidietely take the necessary step of visiting London to ascertain the true state of affairs concerning the president and report back to Nigerians for further action.

Nigeria belongs to all of us and not just a small opportunistic cabal.
