Reading comments by some “Biafra” Agitators, one problem the LNC has observed is that most of those who are warming up for one great war of machetes and guns with Nigeria are the ones who have not taken the trouble to understand that the LNC committed a huge chunk of its energies to first asphyxiate the monster called Nigeria to stupor and death as a Strategy for freeing its many captives including Eastern Nigeria.
This is totally different from the calculations of those who are thinking only in terms of Biafra that will fight the rest of Nigeria with bombs, mortars, jet fighters and warships as was done in 1967-70.
That LNC Strategy which has already delivered the Broken Map of Nigeria in which the Yoruba bloc are raising their own flags, the Middle Belt being slaughtered have openly retreated and separated from the Caliphate while the rest Niger Delta which unfortunately found itself working with the enemy in the Biafra 1967-70 War to choke Biafra to death, are now back in the fold of the cohesive Eastern Nigeria Collective, (the Lower Niger), while the Sharia Caliphate is completely isolated by the rest of the Country on account of Sharia simultaneously imposed by the 12 Contiguous predominantly Muslim States of the Far North and can no longer muster the kind of Alliance that they had in 1967 against the East. In other words, the LNC clinically collapsed and decapitated that all-powerful Alliance of the rest of Nigeria. This radically changes the ground equation of what happens in the Sovereignty disputations of the defunct Federation of Nigeria which died since 1966.
The 1999 Constitution which is the sole title document by which Nigeria holds all the Territory, including the East, was hacked down without warning since 2007 by a simple but fatal legal challenge upon the legitimacy of the Document. The LNC wrought that to shoot down the title deed of Nigeria over the Eastern Nigeria Territory.
On the International Arena, the LNC played a direct role in the emergence in 2007 of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) 2007 which completely reset the basis of on the question of Self-determination. 5 Countries already got to their Independence via Referendum under that Instrument.
If instead of digesting these matrix of strategies deployed over a period of almost 18-years within a 20-year plan, we continue to chant “Biafra, Biafra” all over the place with no clear plan of how to deliver it, it becomes a huge distraction to the concluding phase of the long trek to the restoration of the Sovereignty of the Old Eastern Region as demanded by the ND Avengers, which certainly framed it’s demand with the Lower Niger Paradigm.
Propaganda and Razzmatazz certainly have their proper place in a Campaign for Independence such as is being pursued by Eastern Nigeria, but they neither become the plan nor the Grand Strategy to deliver the Independence.
Let us have the discipline to examine and interrogate a complex plan that defied even the best surveillance of Britain and their Nigerian agents and surrogates, but which the US Intelligence picked up and raised an accurate alarm about in 2005, when they warned that Nigeria would be history by 2015.
If you want to understand how that accurate prediction was reached, goggle the 2013 US Army War College Report on Nigeria, titled “NIGERIAN UNITY: IN THE BALANCE” which reached a verdict that the CENTRIFUGAL FORCES that sought the dismantling of Nigeria had triumphed over the CENTRIPETAL FORCES which struggled to keep Nigeria one by force. That Report pronounced an inevitable splintering of Nigeria along its well known fault-lines and went ahead to advise the US Administration to brace up to receive the successor-states already emerging from splintering of Nigeria and that no outside power, including the US, can stop this splintering since according to the Report, this was coming from the determined efforts of the various Nationalities locked in by colonial fiat with civilizations in constant clash. The Map silhouetted by that 2013 Report is strikingly congruent with the LNC-inspired Broken Map of Nigeria, wrought through the MNN (an LNC special purpose vehicle) in 2011 via the MNN LAGOS DECLARATION OF JUNE 30, 2011 from which that Broken Map of Nigeria emerged. The LNC can lay claim to being the arrowhead of those CENTRIFUGAL FORCES referred to in that 2013.

I went to this length of illumination on the issue to get us all rouse ourselves from the fixation of a Nigeria that with a War will be waged in order to have “Biafra”.
