When an individual dies, in matter of hours, all arguments as to to whether death has occurred or not end.
When a Company dies, it may take several months or to manifest fully, especially when Liquidators and Receivers move in.
In the case of Country, referred to as “State Demise”, in may take several years or even decades to be so manifest as to become indubitable.
The defunct Soviet Union died for almost 28 years before little Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania bolted off to their Independence. Only then did it dawn on Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan and 9 others, that Moscow was brain dead.
Nigeria is today, in the exact condition of demise that Soviet Union was in the period preceding its open collapse and evolvement of 15 Countries from its remains.
The defunct Federation of Nigeria collapsed irreversibly since 1966. The pretence to the contrary is entering its terminal stages.
As a part of my duties as Co-Convener and Scribe of the MNN, I preside over a Technical Team that Does a Weekly Continuous Integrity Assessment Report on Nigeria.
I was prompted to share a little of what the visuals from that Weekly Assessment looks like by the striking headlines in the tabloids today.
The 5 images you have below are from the front and back pages of Nigeria’s leading National Newspapers, Vanguard, Sun, Punch.
Sun declares that “Nigeria is Broke” on its front page. On its back page op-ed, it xrays “A Nation on Life-Support”.

Below Vanguard’s Masthead, the United Nations raises a big alarm
“Boko Haram: Millions of Nigerians risk statelessness” while the bold front page says “FG in talks with B-Haram to end suicide bombings”.

Punch on the front page declared that according to the Chibok Negotiator
“Some abducted Chibok girls refused to be ‘freed’ ” with the freed marked in quote, meaning an editorial endorsement to the thick clouds of doubt in the public space hanging over the whole Chibok shenanigans.

On the back page, Punch has op-ed on ” Salvaging Nigeria’s Universities” with a real-life picture of two Policemen and a Policewoman, pushing a Police Operations Vehicle.

Those amongst our People who interpret these news items outside the context of grim State Demise they represent, certainly have a lot of learning to do.
As for those who do, including myself, many hands are already on deck on post-Nigeria designs.
The Map below silhouettes the formations in which actions and thoughts are being processed.

(MNN is an LNC-inspired Countrywide undertaker Platform for One-Nigeria excluding the 12-State Sharia Belt, also midwifing the peaceful emergence of Independent Units whilst forging fresh post-Nigeria Protocols to serve the best interests of Blocs entrapped in the failed Lugardian Experiment of since 1914).
