Some APC governors and APC major stakeholders led by Maman Daura are meeting today to see how they will help Sheriff at the Supreme Court. We can now confirm clearly that it is a battle between the PDP as represented by the Markafi group and the ruling APC. Nigerians and all lovers of democracy should rise and say no to this evil plot by the APC led government to stifle the opposition.
The Judiciary must at this time show that they are independent. The confidence we have in them is not in doubt and we are also aware that president Buhari as a person will not support anybody to influence the Judiciary. The police, DSS, Army and other security agencies must stand up against this impending doom which could be so ratios in the history of Nigeria.
We have absolute confidence in the CJN and we believe in his effort towards an independent and upright Judiciary where the rule of law will stand supreme at all times. We therefore call on well meaning Nigerians who are yearning for a viable opposition to stand up against intimidation on the Judiciary. Sheriff is an arm of the APC and they know that with Sheriff as an opposition leader, Nigeria will be operating a one party system.
