The state Chairman of IMO PDP Barr Charles Ezekwem has declared that only transparent, responsible, committed and focused party leadership can reclaim IMO from the tumultuous hands of Gov Rochas Okorocha APC led government in 2019.
The PDP Boss made the declaration when the leadership of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), IMO state chapter paid him a solidarity visit in his office on Tuesday August 29th 2017.
The Okigwe born State Chairman maintained that gone are the days when some highly placed party Leaders sit in the comfort of their homes to determine who flags party ticket during elections adding that the present State Executive of the party operate a zero tolerance for corruption and impunity.
Barr Ezekwem revealed that the current hardship, hunger and poverty been inflicted on Imolites by APC led government of Governor Rochas Okorocha calls for and requires a dedicated, committed, transparent and focused party leadership which only the PDP can offer to recover IMO from the wicked hands of the APC led government saying that PDP will only fail to win the state in 2019 if there is any act or plan to obstruct the people’s choice, wish and aspiration during party primaries . He said internal democracy, due process, Justice, equity, transparency, and fairness are the watch word of his administration.
While admonishing all aggreived members of the party to comply and coperate with Prof Obioma Iheduru led IMO PDP peace and Reconciliation Committee, the young, vibrant and energetic state Chairman assured all Imolites of the readiness of PDP to take over and return the state to path of greatness and prosperity in 2019 saying that the current State Executive of the party with the support of the people has all it takes to sack and remove APC govt in 2019.
