Many Nigerians Seem to be confused on this Chicago University certificate Scandal.

These are the facts.

President Tinubu submitted a Chicago State University certificate to INEC as a qualification to run for president on February 25, 2023.

He did not submit any primary or secondary school certificates. He only submitted a certificate from Chicago State University.

Atiku Abubakar went all the way to Chicago State University to verify the certificate submitted to INEC by President Tinubu.

The president did all he could to block the release of his certificate and other academic details to Atiku but failed to stop it as the USA court ordered the University to release it.

The University obeyed the court order and released Tinubu’s academic records to Atiku.

From what has been released so far, it was discovered;

1. That the certificate President Tinubu submitted to INEC is different from the one the University released to Atiku. Which means that the certificate submitted to INEC is fake and forged.
2. It was discovered that the Tinubu who attended the Chicago State University is a female.
3. It was discovered that the Tinubu who attended the Chicago State University graduated from the Government College Lagos and that she is also a female.

These are the major issues distilled from the released academic records of President Tinubu.

The question is;

A. How come Tinubu finished from Government College Lagos and still refused to submit the SSCE certificate to INEC? It shows that there was something to hide.

B. It has been discovered that the Government College Lagos which Tinubu claimed to have finished from in 1970 according to the released academic records from the Chicago State University was established in 1974.

Therefore the claim of having attended Government College Lagos is also fake.

Now, these are the issues for determination?

i. Did President Tinubu submit fake Chicago State University certificate to INEC?
ii. What’s the penalty for submitting fake and forged certificate as a qualification to contest an election in Nigeria?

I am certain that the Supreme Court will make a pronouncement on this once Atiku files his findings to the Apex court.

Note: the Courts have always argued that anyone who claims that a certificate submitted to INEC by any candidate is fake should first produce the original certificate and place it side by side to argue his case. This is what Atiku has done.

He has the original certificate from CSU and the one submitted to INEC.

Conclusively, Atiku Abubakar has a case, a strong one with damning evidence against President Tinubu.
