Senator Hope Uzodinma has been reaffirmed by the APC national as the authentic Imo State flag-bearer for the 2019 general election for the All progressives Congress (APC).
Senator Uzodinma was winner of the Oct 1st Ahmed Gulak chaired primary election in Owerri where he scored the maximum 423, 895 votes to defeat his closest rival, Prince Eze Madumere who scored 128,325 votes.
Governor Rochas Okorocha’s annointed successor and son-in-law, Hon. Uche Nwosu came a distant with 10,329 votes out of the nine contestants.
Governor Okorocha went ahead to conduct his own kangaroo primaries in which he declared his son in inlaw winner despite a boycott by the other 6 aspirants who have already affirmed Senator Uzodinma as the winner as shown on the video below.
Governor Okorocha went ahead to conduct his kangaroo primary election despite a court injunction preventing him from doing so.
