‘Tsunami’ which is a Japanese word for ‘Harbour Wave’ usually forms in four major ways namely landslides, volcanic eruptions, extraterrestrial impacts and or underwater earthquakes. And using such a word that covers all forms of impulsive wave generation to describe a man who generated a wave of Nigerian youths known as Obidients within a short period of time ahead of the February 2023 presidential election can’t be out of place.
In other words, it is very much in order to have used ‘Tsunami’ to describe a man who defeated his major rivals in both former and present capitals of Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) with landslide margin. Yes, give it to him, the LP presidential candidate was a real tsunami without question. And so, the 51st Ooni of Ifè, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR was right to have hailed HE Peter Obi with “The Tsunami himself” two days ago at Lekki venue of the commissioning of Dangote Refinery.
The former governor of Anambra State, for over 10 months and counting, has continued to shake the entire structures of criminality. Hence, the old order couldn’t help but continue to attack him on a daily basis. They attack PO simply because he is the human tsunami God sent down to deliver dear country from unbridled criminalities. Certainly, with Obi-Datti coming onboard to administer transformative governance for the overall well-being of Nigerians, we will surely be turned around from the state of pauparism to that of prosperity.
